Gabriella Becerra
Head Softball Coach

Graciella Becarra was named the head coach in the summer of 2024. In the 2024 season, Becerra and head coach Ty Robinson helped guide the Lady Jackets to an improved season finishing just outside a conference tournament spot.

Coach Becarra joined the HPU staff in December of 2023 from Jarvis Christian College where she served as an assistant coach under head coach Ty Robinson.

At Jarvis, Becerra helped in all aspects of the program including practice and game coaching, strength and conditioning, and recruiting.

Becerra helped lead Jarvis to a 26-24 record and an appearance in the 2023 Red River Conference tournament.

After her college eligibility was finished, she served as an assistant and later as a head coach with Buffalo Valley Select softball.

A 2021 graduate of Jarvis with a degree in Kinesiology, she was a four-time All-Conference selection and a four-time Academic All-District honoree.

Becerra also has experience with working camps but has a more extensive background working with infielders and catchers.
